Music, Movies and More Scheduled During International Education Week Nov. 5-13

Keuka College will celebrate International Education Week Nov. 5-13 with a variety of events.

Sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Center for Global Education, International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The week also promotes programs which prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Among the events to mark the week at Keuka: a concert featuring University of Kentucky faculty members Peter Simpson (bassoon), associate professor of bassoon and assistant director of the School of Music, and Dieter Hennings (guitar and lute), instructor in guitar.

The performance, slated Monday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in Norton Chapel, will include Three Popular Songs, by Manuel DeFalla, Sonata in A minor, by Antonio Vivaldi, Suite in D minor, by Marin Marais, and Three Recercadas, by Diego Ortiz.
