Six free and open to the public performances in Norton Chapel will highlight a summer music camp conducted by the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester July 14-26 at Keuka College.
The camp, designed for middle and high school students, will feature a range of classes led by faculty from the Eastman School of Music and Eastman Community Music School.
The performing talents of faculty will be showcased Monday, July 15, in a formal group recital at 8 p.m. An informal jazz faculty recital/workshop will be held the following evening at 8 and on Thursday, July 18, an informal voice and strings recital/workshop is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. The following evening will feature an informal guitar recital/workshop, also at 8.
Students will be in the Norton Chapel spotlight for a small ensembles concert Thursday, July 25, at 3 p.m. and a large ensembles concert Friday, July 26, at 3 p.m.
