The Keuka College Symphonic Band will present its annual spring concert Wednesday, May 4.
The concert, free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Norton Chapel.
Under the direction of Jeff Stempien, instructor of band, the program includes The Star Spangled Banner, by John Stafford Smith; March – “Folk Songs from Somerset,” from English Folk Song Suite, by Ralph Vaughan Williams; Our Yesterdays Lengthen Like Shadows, by Samuel R. Hazo; music from Pirates of the Caribbean, by Klaus Badelt; Quad City Stomp, by Michael Sweeney; and Midway March, by John Williams
The concert will also feature a clarinet duet by senior English major Trista Wesley and sophomore occupational science major Halie Squires who will perform Double Concert, by Vivaldi. The Student Brass Quintet will also be featured on Galliard Battaglia, by Samuel Scheidt.
