The College will host the 2011 Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning Leadership Summit (ASAIHL) June 19-22 in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
The summit, which will feature talks and paper presentations by world-renowned educators, will be held at The Conference Center at Niagara Falls.
Keuka, a member of ASAIHL, boasts the largest enrollment of any American college or university operating in China. Some 3,500 Chinese students are pursuing degrees at four partner universities. In addition, some 300 Vietnamese students are doing likewise at Vietnam National University in Hanoi.
Jeffrey Lehman, chancellor and founding dean of Peking University School of Transnational Law and former president of Cornell University, will deliver the keynote address.

Founded in 1956, ASAIHL is recognized globally as a non-governmental United Nations organization. It holds consultative status and is a participant member of the United Nations Educational Scientific & Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Collective Consultation on Higher Education.
ASAIHL’s purpose is to assist member institutions strengthen themselves through mutual self help and achieve international distinction in teaching, research, and public service. Specifically, the Association fosters the development of the institutions and the cultivation of a sense of regional identity and interdependence and liaison with other regional and international organizations concerned with research and teaching. ASAIHL assists member institutions in the recruitment and placement of faculty and staff, exchange programs of professors and students, and the development of collaboration.
