Twenty-four faculty and staff members were recognized for their service and dedication to Keuka College at Community Day Feb. 2.
Five-year service awards were presented to: William Howard, management program director, Accelerated Studies for Adults Program (ASAP); Rebecca Dillon, marketing supervisor, Sodexo Dining Services; Martha French, assistant professor of education; Beth Scherra Russo, assistant professor of nursing; Amanda Panelli, Terrace Café supervisor; Joe Cosler, dining services, grounds, and maintenance; David Utter, grounds and maintenance; Debra Gates, associate professor of nursing; Tom Bennett, technical support specialist; and Matt Tantalo, head coach, men’s soccer and tennis.
A 10-year service award was presented to Valerie Webster, co-curricular transcript coordinator.
A 25-year service award was presented to Sally Daggett, associate director of experiential programs.
A 30-year service award was presented to Dan DeMay, supervisor of grounds.
Merit awards were presented to: Julia Bies, director of advisement services in the Center for Professional Studies; BJ Jayne, assistant director of development and donor relations; and Michael Gentile, resident director of Davis Hall and Allen House.
Merit awards were also presented to members of the College’s social work division including: Gail Roberts, professor and chair; Stephanie Craig, associate professor; Jennifer Mealy, assistant professor; Dave Hall, program director (ASAP); Julie Burns-Percy, program coordinator (ASAP); and Vikki O’Connor, visiting professor (ASAP).
Presidential Awards for Sustained Outstanding Achievement were presented to Sue Losey, athletics office manager, and Jennifer Robinson, assistant director of the Academic Success at Keuka (ASK) Center.
