Junior management major Laura Williams received a $1,000 scholarship from the Upstate New York Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
The scholarship recognizes students who excel in academics, service, and leadership and have vast business experience.
“This is an award that typically goes to MBA students,” said Associate Professor of Management Ann Tuttle, who nominated Williams for the award. “It shows that Keuka is producing students who can compete with larger caliber schools.”
Williams competed against students from Syracuse University, Canisius College, SUNY Buffalo, and Roberts Wesleyan for the scholarship
The scholarship was awarded at the annual TMA Student Night, sponsored by JC Jones & Associates and held Oct. 25 in Rochester.
