Keuka College Symphonic Band Concert Dec. 2

The Keuka College Symphonic Band will present its annual Christmas concert Sunday, Dec. 2.

The concert, free and open to the public, begins at 3:30 p.m. in Norton Chapel.

Under the direction of Jeff Stempien, instructor of band, the program includes Holiday Greetings, arranged by James Swearingen; Patapa, by William Ryden;  Eine Kleine Christmas, arranged by Larry Clark; Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane; Christmas “a la” Big Band, arranged by Larry Clark; Celtic Carol, arranged by Robert W. Smith; A Nutcracker Spectacular, by Tchaikovsky; A Canadian Brass Christmas, arranged by Luther Henderson; and Christmas Joy, by Frank Erickson.

The concert will also include a performance of The Star Spangled Banner, by John Stafford Smith, featuring students Kayla Hall, a sophomore occupational science major from Ballston Spa, and Johnathon Pugh, a senior biology major from Buffalo; and Geneva resident Aimee Perry.
